What influenced you to learn guitar?

“Basically what interested me [in music] was a Youtuber called Markiplier, I think you know him. He started playing guitar, and he learned it really fast and it was really cool to watch somebody learn guitar that fast. And also a song called “Your Guardian Angel” by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. They also inspired me to play guitar and to start learning, and it’s been awesome learning guitar.”

How much time do you spend practicing?

“A lot. Like eight hours a day usually. Every day, almost.”

Do you want to pursue music as a career?

“Yes, I’d love to do music as a career. [It] would be amazing.”

What would be your dream place to play?

“Dream place to play? Here. Here or the Blue Note.”

Is this your first time at Roots and Blues?

“I’ve been here a long time ago, but not in the Steven’s Park area, more in the downtown area.”

What is your favorite part of Roots and Blues and BBQ?

“The festival. Definitely the Palen Music thing that they’ve got set up here. It’s so much fun, and it’s great that they get a ton of volunteers to go play for them. It’s so much fun.”[vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1538342280431-c0c39089-9718-10″ include=”304000,303998,304001,303999,304002,303996,303995″]
