During the months of September and October, many students celebrate the fall season by watching their favorite shows and movies that remind them of the autumn months. Characters wearing warm outfits, spooky storylines and settings filled with fall leaves contribute to making these various shows and movies feel like the fall season. RBHS students share their favorite shows and movies that they associate with the fall season.

Daniel Ryan, freshman

“I like to watch ‘Gilmore Girls’ and the movie ‘Rango’. I like to watch ‘Rango’ because he’s a cowboy. I don’t really pay attention to the characters in ‘Gilmore Girls’ because I just watch it with my sister sometimes.”

Mae Walker, sophomore

“I like to watch the show ‘Gossip Girl’ because they’re dressed in warmer outfits which definitely gives fall vibes, and the first time I watched it was during fall. Every fall I make sure to rewatch it.”

Noah Lee, junior

“‘Gilmore Girls’ is a solid show I like to watch during the fall. I like to rewatch ‘Stranger Things’ too; it’s a good fall and October type of show. ‘Gilmore Girls’ and ‘Stranger Things’ are probably my top two. My favorite season of ‘Stranger Things’ is probably season one because it’s the most nostalgic in my opinion.”

Izzy Arnett, senior

“I like watching ’90s shows and movies during the fall like ‘The Breakfast Club’, ‘Pretty in Pink’, ‘Clueless’ and ‘Hocus Pocus’ because it gives very fall vibes. My favorite witch in ‘Hocus Pocus’ is Sarah the blonde one. I usually associate the ’90s with fall, and they’re just so fun to watch when the leaves turn orange.”
