How did you ask your escort to homecoming?
[Fitzpatrick] actually asked to be my escort, which isn’t the traditional way, but it works.
What were your immediate thoughts after hearing your name in the nominations?
I had just gotten on the bus after a golf tournament, and all my friends had texted me saying congrats, and then someone sent me a list of all the names. It was extra exciting because we had just won the tournament also. [But] The first thing I thought about [after finding out] was where I was going to find my dress.
What homecoming activity do you look forward to most?
I am excited about the homecoming activities, especially the lunch activities.
What school activities do you participate in? What have you done in these activities?
I am senior class treasurer on student council, a member of student coalition, a member of bruins united, a core leader for RBRO – St. Francis House -, a member of [National Honors Society], a competitor for Skills USA Baking & Pastry, and I am on the golf team.
How do you think you would exemplify a homecoming queen if you won?
There is no one at Rock Bridge who couldn’t come find me and talk to me if they needed something, or just a friend to talk to.
How have you made the school a better place?
I have taken small steps in the direction towards making Rock Bridge a better place by making the best out of every situation, and making everyone feel like they belong there.
What are your dreams and aspirations?
After high school I am going to play golf in college, and then later attend culinary school. I want to own my own bakery when I grow up. That is my biggest dream.
What is your most embarrassing high school memory?
My most embarrassing high school moment was definitely freshman year in [JJHS teacher Craig] Adam’s physic and engineering class. We took a field trip to Hickman to test some things in the pool, and my friends and I went to the other side and were just goofing around dancing. A few minutes later we look over and everyone is watching us, and our teacher was videotaping it. It was so embarrassing.
