I love the random flowers on the set pieces. It takes away from the serious feeling of black and white, which is so often felt within the essence of these artful photographs.

I cannot really say much for my work with black and white. I mean, I could ramble for hours about how the contrast of black and white is more sincere to the eye, more mysterious and more entertaining in every way, that would be easy! What I mean is that I’d rather my work do the talking. i live to inspire and my biggest hope is to allow people the courage to pursue their dreams, whether that is photography or anything else one might be afraid to pursue. So, now, I will allow some simple black and white photographs do the talking. Enjoy, my friends.

I feel like this photo is hard to love, and it was equally hard to edit. But, it has good composition and feeling.
I really feel like black and white photography has so much more to offer than we truly understand. Looking back, black and white was the norm, it made up for the lack of color in such an awe-inspiring way.

Imagine people dancing and performing on the stage above. What beauty, right? Black and white allows the mind to be more creative and thoughtful, putting scenes in a picture more easily than with distracting color.

This photo is creepily-dark, and I love it! Take the time to use your imagination with this photo.
The creativity and true talent of photographers working with black and white, especially film, still astounds me today. I can only hope to be as wonderfully successful in this art field as they are!
I took this on a trail on a beautiful fall day. The leaves had not changed yet making this tree an interesting character in the forest of others just like it all around.

This photo reminds me of a fairy tale, of dragons and swords, princes and princesses. In color it is truly beautiful, but in black and white it seems to have more of a story, a little less straight forward than before.

I absolutely love this in black and white. In color it was not visually interesting. This was a great strategic move on my part!
Black and white photography always challenges me, always changes my perspective, and always puts me in a great, creative mood! I hope this will come back full fledged and I plan on being an individual working strongly in that movement!

Happy Friday, Friends!

I love the photos! Being a professional photographer I
know it can be difficult to choose the right shots but
they are fantastic. I use a few Lightroom presets to
help keep some consistency with my own.
