Boys’ soccer falls in district championship bid

With the Class 4 District 9 championship and a ticket to the Class 4 sectional game on the line, the boys’ soccer team (21-4) faced Jefferson City High School (JCHS) Nov. 7 at Battle High School. In the end, JCHS player Lucas Godon scored the winning kick to send the Jays to the Class 4 sectional, ending the game 2-1.

Under the bright lights at Hickman High School (HHS) on Wednesday, Oct. 25, the RBHS boys’ soccer (9-11-1) season ended with a 3-1 loss to Smith Cotton High School. The loss, however, works as motivation for both coaches and athletes for next year's season.

Boys’ soccer wins first round of district tournament

On Monday night, Oct 23., the boys’ soccer team beat the Jefferson City High School Jays (JCHS) in the first round of the district tournament at Hickman High School (HHS) with a close score of 1-0.
