Black Friday rush caught in photos

The hectic nature of Black Friday continued this year, with over $52 billion in sales this year, according to the National Retail Federation.
A 516 percent increase from 2010 in global mobile payment volume (through PayPal) and a 371 percent increase in the number of customers shopping on their phones were reported by www.forbes.com.
According to www.comSource.com, more than 50 million American visited online retail sites on Black Friday – a 35 percent increase from last year.
Online sales of $816 million were reported, up 26 percent from last year, according to www.forbes.com.
The National Retail Federation also reported that the average shopper spent $398.62 this Black Friday weekend, which is up from $365.34 last year.
