With only two more weeks left of the New Year’s Resolution race, many resolutions are morphing into habits. Unfortunately for some contestants, heavy schoolwork combined with extracurriculars and the challenges of surviving the middle of the school year hindered their success. Nonetheless, they’re still working hard to developing lasting habits, but not without the help of those around them.

Bearing News asked: Who has inspired you or motivated you the most to stick to your resolution?

Also my mom does, because she pressures me to get enough sleep.”]

I feel like that’s what most resolutions are like. Maybe losing weight or going on a diet is something you need somebody to help you with, but my resolution is more straightforward — I can do it myself.”]

He was a short, chubby little kid, but he was very determined to lose weight and become much healthier, and so he did. He actually worked out and ate very, very healthy.
