Health consequences exist from eating same foods every day

In a world where everything travels at supersonic speeds, maintaining a consistent diet of diverse and healthy foods often takes a backseat.

But some experts say eating the same foods every day is actually a good thing, while others argue that eating a large span of different, healthy foods is best for the health your body.

Some claim eating the same, nutritious meal every day is beneficial for health, especially those striving to increase muscle mass.  For example, routinely consuming a meal with steak, fresh vegetables, and potatoes provides the body with all the nutrients it needs to properly function.  This method is cost efficient, easy to record and prepare and it leads to good eating habits.

Others say eating the same foods on a daily basis has negative effects on a person’s health.  Experts do agree that a well-balanced diet includes a variety of nutrients that the body needs, and it is nearly impossible to consume all of these without eating a wide array of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein.

Also, eating the same foods every day could lead to mealtime boredom, which often leads to craving less healthy foods.  So eating a large span of different, healthy foods can be beneficial.
