As tickets for the fall musical, Seussical, go on sale today, students continue to prepare for the performance. Not only are actors memorizing their lines, mastering their choreography and rehearsing their songs, but students in tech theater and band are preparing for the event as well. In tech theater, students are putting final touches on set pieces and the band pit is persevering through their pages of music for Seussical. Senior Tateonna Thompson, junior Alex Parks, and junior Brice La Fond share their excitement for the upcoming four performances, and the practice they underwent these past weeks.

I am surprised on how well the production of the show was! I was astounded that kids our age can create such a wonderful performance on stage.

I am the person who is incharge of the spot light. I have seen the play multiple times now. I love it so much. I had to go again yesterday the opening night. I think they did a wonderful job.

It’s so cool that the students right here at Rock Bridge are able to pull a show as complicated as this together! I’m surprised by how many I people I barely know from different classes are so involved in this production.

Sounds like it’s going to be a great show! I loved how we got to see what it’s like to be involved in the show from every perspective; the orchestra, the actor, and the technical aspects.
