The girls’ tennis team went undefeated, completing their 27-0 season with a state win. They took the championship title for singles matches Oct. 20.

Securing their seventh state win, RBHS beat Lafayette in the semifinals 5-4 and then overcame Parkway Central in the finals 5-1.

“I’m so excited,” senior Savannah Everett said. “It came down to my match [in the semifinals] and we won; we won. I knew we could do it. I’m so happy for our team.”
