Parking spaces at the north entrance of RBHS will be limited today because eighth-graders from Jefferson Middle School and Gentry Middle school will tour the Columbia Area Career Center (CACC). Students will tour the CACC to experience first-hand the classes they can take as freshmen.

Boys’ soccer victorious in district semifinal match against Hickman

With a record of 20-4 heading into the district semifinal match Nov. 5, the boys’ soccer team exuded confidence. After winning eight of their last 10 regular season games, the Bruins delivered in the class 4 district 9 semifinal match and came out the victors against local rival Hickman High School (HHS) with a score of 1-0. The Bruins gained their third win against HHS, having already won the teams’ two regular season meetings. The Bruins will play against Jefferson City High School (JCHS) 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Battle High School for the district championship.

After a tight game, girls' basketball took home another win on Friday with a ending score of 56-45.
Sophomore Ellie Barnett smiles big as she prepares to begin the second part of the Bruins routine. Barnett believes the team is ready to compete at state. This year we have gotten better at mostly everything, Barnett said. If we just don’t get nervous then everything we have will go [to state with us].
