At the plate, Josh Marsh gets ready to hit a ball. This year, Marsh has worked hard in perfecting his swing and has hit high in the batting order the entire year. “You're going to experience some challenges in high school, whether it be academically or athletically, but just pushing yourself to do the best that you can instead of backing down or giving up is really important,”Marsh said. “Overall it is important that you stay persistent.”

Time management is the only challenge that I have during braids because they have to be perfect to me, I have to make sure my braids and my parts are perfect. It represents the hard part of going on her own post high school and figuring out what a real adult means. She is surrounded by the things that represented her all in high school and some will even follow her post high school. “This is so exciting, oh my gosh, I get to be independent, this is so much fun, and then at the end of the day, I'm kind of like, this is scary because on your own."

‘Collective’ manifests vitality of truth, eradication of corruption

As the first film accepted into the 2020 True/False Film Festival, Collective told a remarkable story of freedom, corruption and the overwhelming power of the truth. Director Alexander Nanau filmed a story that erupted in 2015 at a Bucharest nightclub in southern Romania — Collectiv — where a fire quickly spread, instantly killing dozens of people. If the problem wasn’t harrowing enough, many more continued to parish in hospitals across the country.
