What do you think is one of the biggest flaws in the American education system?
“I think one of the biggest flaws in the American education system is that we don’t have an emphasis on technical career training. I guess we could put more of an emphasis on that, and I guess the amount of homework we are given is a little too much. With a lot of homework there is a lot of stress. Like, I’m getting four hours of sleep some nights just working on five different projects. The lack of sleep is pretty significant, and it causes a lot of stress. Stress is just a negative emotion that no one really wants to feel. Having teachers [arrange] conferences more could help [them conveniently schedule assignments]. Also more team-oriented [projects] could help make the workload more divided.”
