As the season change, and the leaves turn, one of the final colors people see in the trees is red. People think of the leaves, deeper reds in clothes, passion and love when they think of the color red. Apple picking and burgundy flannels take the place of summer dresses and shorts. Also it’s election day and red represents our nation’s colors.
“There’s a giant tree in the EEE room Mrs. Weaver made it before she left,” senior Camille McManus said. “It’s kind of a reminder of her. People will put what they are thankful for on the apples and stick them on the way.”
“When I think of red, I think of passion,” U.S. Studies teacher Chris Fischer said. “The color facilitates an emotional response; it’s a feeling of excitement.”
