With Columbia Public Schools out for the day, the opportunity to attend the True/False Film Festival was perfect, so T.G.I.T.F was held for students to attend a screening of the short film Particle Fever. A screening of Particle Fever held for Columbia Public School students took place in the beautiful Missouri Theater Friday, Feb. 28.Junior CJ Phillips Q queen at True/False poses in a cape before the screening.Mountain Animation, a two person musical group from the subways of New York, entertained the audience as they awaited the start of the film.Junior Kristen Tarr, a volunteer at the festival, holds the door for students as they enter the theater.Juniors, Maddy Mueller, Phoebe Boeschen and Ellie Stitzer participate in the viewing of Particle Fever.True/False merchandise was for sale in the lobby; students could buy buttons, T-shirts, bags, notebooks and key chains among other items.Free Sparkys ice cream was also available in a variety of flavors in the lobby, a treat which all who attended greatly appreciated.
