Monday night was our second week of this Challenger League Season, and it was a great time. We had enough people come out that there weren’t enough players for everybody to get paired up with somebody, so half of us got to cheer the kids on from the stands. We definitely hope to keep seeing new people out there. There’s a game every Monday night at 5:45 at the Daniel Boone Fields off Scott Blvd.
Our main project for September is going to be a putt-putt tournament in the math hallway downstairs at Rock Bridge. The benefits from the tournament will go to the Elimin8 project, which is an organization run by people who donate incredible amounts of time and energy to completely get rid of maternal and neonatal tetanus. There are teams in charge of creating each hole, so if you aren’t creating a hole, get a group of friends together and come play some mini golf.
**A reminder: All of our meetings will be in the PAC from now on. The next meeting will be a week from next Tuesday!
