After last night’s victories in the individual’s sectional tournament, individual girls’ tennis players will compete in singles and doubles for the state championship.
The two singles team players are sophomore Sophi Farid and junior Maddy Kayser. They won a bid to the state singles tournament beating West Plains High School’s players in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 and 6-3, 6-0.
RBHS doubles tennis teams consist of Kay E Fischer & Phoebe Boeschen, winning their match in straight sets 6-0, 6-1, and senior Savannah Everett paired with sophomore Allison Baker, winning 6-2, 6-1.
Girls’ individual teams are ranked numbers one and two in the state tournament for singles and doubles.
The state competition occurs Friday, Oct. 21 lasting until Saturday, Oct. 21 in Springfield, Mo.
