Fall choral concert delights crowds

The RBHS Vocal Music Department hosted a free Fall Choral Concert from 7-8 p.m. Oct. 17. The four choirs performed a combined total of 16 songs, conducted by choir director Mike Pierson and accompanied by Bob Bohon.

High school musicians reflect on journey, plans for future

Throughout high school, music students spend countless hours honing there craft; however, very few of them end up pursuing music as a career. Students such as senior Hope Keithahn and junior Kellen Sapp talk about their plans post secondary school and how they will keep music in their lives.

Conductor Alison Schmidt commands the attention of the orchestra by a simple baton, keeping each section in sync with each other and dictating the appropriate dynamics.

Orchestra holiday taping to air on local television stations
