Girls’ basketball advances to state quarterfinals, wins against Lebanon High School

Sedalia seems to be a good court for both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams. The Lady Bruins defeated Lebanon High School (LHS) (54-46) Wednesday, March 6 in Sedalia, Mo. This win brings the Bruins to [18-9] on the year and allows the team to advance the state quarterfinals.

Girls’ swimming and diving places second at COMO Invite

Coming off of winter break, the girls’ swim and dive team dove right back into competition at the COMO Invite Jan. 4 and Jan. 5 where the team placed second overall. The team had only competed three other times prior to this meet, so team members took advantage of the opportunity to swim fast times and make state cuts, times that will automatically qualify them to compete at state later in their season.
