After an exciting night of homecoming, the girls tennis team hit the road Saturday morning in order to claim another sectional title as they played Francis Howell and Parkway North, both teams from the St. Louis area. The girls came on strong in the morning as they played Francis Howell first. After competing in singles, all six girls walked away winning their match with a score of 6-0 for the team.
The girls then played Parkway North in order to assure their spot as sectional champions. The team then finished all matches, winning 6-0 against Parkway North and coming home to gear up for the state competition.
“I think our girls are doing well,” Coach Ben Loeb said. “If we have everyone buy into what we need to do we can hopefully make it another special season.”
