As you hopefully know, the Music Man opens tonight (this being Thursday) at 7 p.m and will continue to play Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Admission is $7 for all.
While you’re watching it, you’ll probably see the standard sights:
Wandering salesmen,
studious schoolchildren,
and the citizenry of River City, Iowa.
You’ll see snooty looking Andy Flanagin,
snooty looking Courtney Nowlin,
and snooty looking Mr Pierson…
Wait, what? What was that? What’s he doing here?
See, the part about theatre that really interests me isn’t what goes on during performances.
It’s the mixing of old and new.
It’s the double directors, each tending to their respective flocks.
It’s the fact that theatre kids really like having their picture taken.
And it’s those random quirky moments that will only ever happen when nobody’s looking!

Nice! What a unique perspective!
