What was your reaction after hearing you were one of the nominees?
“I was kind of excited. I mean, it’s nice to hear that some people have respect for you. I was pleased.”
What do you think of this year’s theme for courtwarming?
“I really like it. I think it’s a broad enough theme that allows everyone in the school to participate and specific enough for people to get really intricate and just really have fun with it.”
How do you plan on involving the student body with the courtwarming activities?
“I guess the more people you get to the events and activities, the more fun it is for the entire school. So [I’ll] just get the word out and get people excited.”
What school activities do you participate in?
Varsity soccer, National Honors Society, Personal Finance Challenge team, Student Body President
What courtwarming activity do you look forward to the most? Dread the most?
“I think the actual basketball game is exciting; those are always fun. If there’s lunch dancing, that’s always awkward for everybody, so we’ll see how that goes.”
