I like basses. I mean, in addition to the fact that I am one (hey choir kids), they really fill out the sound to any sort of music. They’ve got a monopoly on cool jazz walking lines and nice buzzy wub-wubs and seriously funky grooves. This particular bass, though, has a special place in my heart as the first instrument I really picked up myself and played; no lessons, nobody really telling me to. As someone who adores making and playing music, I present to you the four-stringer that kind of started it all: my bass. Thanks for looking!
