“Honestly, I was very surprised and flattered. [I was] honored my classmates chose me and the other guys to represent them.”
What do you think of this year’s theme for courtwarming?
“I think it’s a creative and fun theme. Encourage everyone in school to have fun with it. Should be one for the books for sure.”
How do you plan on involving the student body with the courtwarming activities?
“We don’t have very many opportunities to collectively, as a student body, show spirit and be creative at it.”
What school activities do you participate in?
Football, National Honors Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Environmental Coalition, Health Organizations Students of America, French Honors Society
What courtwarming activity do you look forward to the most? Dread the most?
“I really love that I have some real good friends on court. The activities in the commons will be entertaining. I’m really looking forward to dressing up with my escort, Taylour Wilson, in some of the great theme planned. I probably dread just getting interviewed and walking down the gym on Friday. [I’m] not very good on camera or on the spot. Cross your fingers I don’t trip on the way down.”
