Suffering a frustrating 41-40 loss to Jefferson City Saturday, Feb. 4, the Bruin boys JV basketball team knew it just wasn’t playing at its best.
“We didn’t rebound like we usually do,” sophomore Zach Carrol said, “and we had way too many turnovers.”
After being ahead for most of the game, the team suffered a heartbreaking call in the final seconds, changing the fate of the game.
“At the end they called a questionable foul after time expired,” freshman Ryan Kreklow said, “and they made a free throw and won.”
