New volleyball head coach leads team to historic finish

 Following the resignation of previous head coach Nicole Murphy, Trevor Koelling was announced the new RBHS volleyball head coach May 24, 2021. The Bruins ended their season with a record of 35-6. Earlier this summer, Koelling and the varsity team decided their biggest goal this year was to bring home a state championship title. They ended up placing fourth at this year's state championship.

Following a district championship, victories in the sectional tournament and state quarterfinals and a fourth-place finish in the Final Four, the RBHS volleyball team set a new record this year, making it farther into post-season than any other volleyball group in school history.
