No-cut sports allow for more inclusion

RBHS has 12 athletic programs, with some having tryouts to construct the final roster and others having no cuts. Maddie Orr covers the case for both sides.

Freshmen standouts highlight fall season

Volleyball falls to Hickman in districts, ends season looking toward the future

In a tight match at Warrenton High School, the girls’ volleyball team fell to Hickman High School during the second round of the district tournament Wednesday despite ousting them a few weeks prior. With the score 0-2, 15-25 in the first set and 22-25 in the second, the Bruins’ season ends after a 24-11-1 overall record.The team had an accomplished season, as this year was the first primarily successful season since 2014.

After a senior night win, volleyball takes on Blair Oaks for last home game of season

The volleyball team played Battle High School in their annual senior night. After two set wins (25-20, 25-6), the squad is 18-9 going into tonight’s game against Blair Oaks at 7:30 p.m. in the RBHS main gym, marking the last home game of the season.
