Girls’ basketball dominates against Capital City despite midgame position adjustments

The RBHS girls’ basketball team took on Capital City high school on Thursday, Jan.14. After making several adjustments to their playing strategy during the game to adapt to the other team’s plays, the girls won 60-21. 
Reaching towards the net, Brody displayed her athleticism by jumping over two HHS defenders in an effort to score.

Girls’ basketball district run starts with win over Hickman High School

The girls' basketball team defeated Hickman High School 63-19 in its first district game. The Bruins will play the Jefferson City High School Jays March 6.

Girls’ basketball wins regular season game against Ozark High School

As the warm-up buzzer approached double zeroes, basketballs found solace in a container, and girls from the two teams gathered on opposite sides of the green and gold court to shake out their final nerves. The Lady Bruins stood with the whole arena to honor the national anthem, each of them drumming the rhythm of the familiar beat on the shoulder of their teammate in front of them. Then, their beloved head girls’ basketball coach Jill Nagel rallied the team one last time and watched as tip-off commenced the Jan. 9 game against Ozark High School.
