What do you think is one of the biggest flaws in the American education system?
“One of the biggest issues I’ve noticed is the large class sizes because each person learns individually in a different way, and we’re teaching in the same style to a big class of 30. There might only be a few kids who actually pick up what [teachers] are saying. For me personally, there are some classes that I enjoy more because the teacher teaches in a style that I like, and in some classes I don’t really understand the lessons because it gets boring and I start to lose focus. Students have lower chances of succeeding in a class that doesn’t fit their learning style. I feel like the school needs to allow time for teachers and students to have one-on-one time so teachers can kinda figure out how their students learn and apply that to class to help students succeed.”
