Last night at Battle spectators had a chance to preview the upcoming girls’ soccer season. RBHS, with a combination of tough defense and offense, scored two points in each of the three scrimmages. While Smith-Cotton, Hickman and Battle put up a tough fight, none of RBHS’s opponents managed to score a single goal.
The first game pitted RBHS against Smith-Cotton had two goal-scorers. Payton McCallister scored in the sixth minute while Molly Klein scored a couple minutes after McCallister.

Not having attended the jamboree, the pictures of the game helped to get an idea of what took place on the soccer field. The short yet concise text was also helpful to gain information on the results of the games. I think the images and text was a good combination to get a quick recap on the night.
