Within the age of technology, devices are limited by the length of their power chords. Phones, tablets and computers are all bound to the brutally short battery life and to the even shorter charging cable.
With this dilemma in mind, major phone companies and other technological pioneers have set out to create a wireless charger.
So far, the average consumer has been offered some mediocre products, such as the Power mat, that don’t truly allow for the charging experience to be wireless.  Many articles and fragmentary devices have been released for this new idea.
The way the wireless charging (inductive charging) will be accomplished is through electromagnetic fields and currents. The charger will have a block/pad that creates the electromagnetic field that sends electric currents to the copper wires within a phone or tablets battery,  allowing a device to be charged wirelessly.
The obvious advantage of this new idea is the mobility and accessibility of having a wireless device that is still charging. However, the major dilemma or problem is the lack of efficiency that the charger offers. Wireless chargers are said to charge devices much slower than an average charger.  And finally with any new product, the cost of the wireless chargers will be pretty pricey.
