I’ve never quite understood the joy people get from running. To me, running seems aimless, and unlike other sports, there isn’t really a tangible purpose. Recently, I decided to give running a chance. I figured the worst that could come out of it was an hour of misery and some soreness the next day. I was surprised to find that I actually enjoyed it.
There’s a lot more to running than the physical part. It’s just you and the road, so it’s easy to escape from the stresses of life and take time to reflect and appreciate nature instead.
