This morning, junior Sophie Cunningham was named Gatorade Player of the Year for girl’s basketball. Gatorade names a player from each state, and in each sport, to be player of the year. She joins alumnus Katherine Hary among past RBHS winners of the award.
“It’s a very nice honor,” Cunningham said. “But I couldn’t do it without my teammates.”
Head Coach Jill Nagel and Principal Dr. Jennifer Mast presented the award to Cunningham.
