Participating members of the RBHS and HHS Extended Education Experiences communities took a break from their daily routines and instead, journeyed outside for the EEE RetrEEEt Sept. 27-28.
Instead of going to school, the EEE students spent Thursday and Friday at Rock Bridge State Park and Rock Quarry Park, learning about leadership, community building, mindfulness and among other things, how to manage stress and find happiness. Students took classes such as “Mindfulness and Meditation,” “The Science of Happiness” and “How to Know When to Unload.”
By Monday, EEE members were ready to return to their classes with a new outlook on life as well as stronger connections to their peers and mentors.
