Although voting may not be on the to-do list for some until Nov. 6, seniors have the chance to vote tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 26, for nominating the nine homecoming queen candidates. Voting will take place in the main commons before school through 1:30.
“Homecoming is a tradition for many high schools, and part of that tradition is a court and a queen,” Activity Director David Bones said. “And so in some regards, seniors voting for nine girls out of the entire class is a part of that tradition.”
The homecoming theme this year is “Color the Community,” a theme revolving around the service the candidates can provide to organizations around Columbia.
