Tuesdays at the Intersection are usually spent doing activities in the kitchen, but this particular Tuesday, we had something a little different lined up. In the absence of our good friend, senior Rasheeq Nizam, core leader for Tuesdays at the Intersection, senior Stephen Turban decided to make Fruit Loop necklaces with the kids — or rather, “Fruit Ring” necklaces, as the perky monkey on the cereal bag indicated. Whether the cereal was called loops or rings, the activity made for a great time, as nothing is quite as satisfying as making a craft that you can both wear and eat.
