Parade magazine ranked RBHS’ own City Lights show choir as one of the top 12 show choirs in the country based on nominations submitted by the magazine’s readership. The rankings were released Oct. 28 on the magazine’s website.
“It’s such a great feeling because we’ve made it so far,” junior Jaynell Lardizabal said. “Personally I haven’t been through it, but seeing how City Lights progresses, how we step it up each year, it’s great.”
The rankings were part of “Parade‘s search for America’s favorite show choir.” The nomination process narrowed candidates to a list of 12. Visitors to Parade‘s site will vote for their favorite show choir based on videos of each group’s performance.
Voting closes at midnight Sunday, Nov. 6. The winner will be announced 12 p.m. ET Nov. 7. Readers can vote here.
