On Friday, Feb. 10, both the JV and varsity RB boys basketball teams battled Hogan Prep Academy Charter.
The night started with a JV win of 68-55. Bruin boys were ahead for most of the game, so it was an expected win.
The Bruin varsity (19-4) had a harder time securing a lead. Hogan Prep’s Rams (14-9) were a point ahead for most of the game prior to the end of the fourth quarter when, with 13 seconds on the clock, RB evened out the score at 68-68, causing the game to go into overtime.
In overtime, the Bruins again cut it close, making two shots in the last ten seconds to beat the Rams 89-76.
The Missouri High Steppers performed during halftime at the varsity game.
